The Paintings
My works are painted with oil on canvas and most are completed in one day. I approach each painting as a singular composition. My goal is to recreate the feeling of these spaces through design, balance, and technique.

Process
Most of my subject matter comes from my time on and around Lake Erie. I make frequent sailing trips to the Lake Erie Islands and enjoy visiting the area parks and harbors looking for inspiration. Scenes from around my home, recent trips I’ve enjoyed, and the broader Northeast Ohio landscape have also provided visual references for my paintings.
